A nice house, but the iron-work is a bit over the top (and everywhere!).
Check out the gates in the last picture

Christ! The gates are like something from HR Giger's mind! :p

attach a car battery to the metal work when you're gone and it'll do as a half arsed electric fence! very weird house. especially when they have a massive room, and put two single beds a yard apart.

This is known as the Hell Flat 4 It was a former shed turned into a bedsit when it was bought by the current owner..

    http://www.property.ie/property-to-let/Charlemont-Terrace-Wellington-Road-Cork-City-Centre-Co-Cork/1094022/

It has an interesting history as almost anyone who ever rented it has cracked up, People don't last long in there, Wouldn't blame them either..

This bedsit is in the neighbouring house and is owned by the same landlord, to call it a kip is an understatement, Its a rotten flat, The toilet is the amongst the worse iv ever seen, And the kitchen is laughable, A friend of mine actually lived in the kip when she was pregnant and she got serious chest problems from the dampness.

Looking for room at moment, saw these two strange ads.

    First one:
    http://www.daft.ie/searchsharing.daft?id=650821

A bed in the actual living/tv room these guys use!
" however don't expect too much privacy"

Look at the pictures, it looks like they threw a single bed behind the couch!

    Second one:
    http://www.daft.ie/searchsharing.daft?id=650551

A double bedroom with a single bed. Okay. Sounds normal. So for a single bed in the double room, you pay 299 a month, but if you start acting all selfish and ask for a double bed, your rent is upped to 359 a month, no once off pay for bed, the actual rent per month is upped by 60 euro!

WTF is wrong with some of these people? I am sometimes so tempted to ring or text these people to ask them if they are idiots.

That is a complete joke. How people can get away with this is beyond me.

Even more of an idiot is the person who rents it. Still can't get over the hovels some people try to pawn off as "comfortable" and "modern" accomodation :pac: As for your bed being in the living room, are they actually having a laugh?

You could end up renting a building site!
Small fully self contained one bedroomed mews to let.
Available to let in 5 weeks approxThis mews is about to be renovated from top to bottom.
All utencils seen in pictures will be skipped, dumped!
Hoping to put two windows in wall on front.
It will be ready in about 5 weeks.

Even if it was finished to the highest of standards, a 1 bed in Harolds Cross is still not worth €1200 (7 months out of the year) and a whopping €1600 (5 months out of the year)!

And why is it in the sharing section

So is the child in the picture going to be dumped too? Best get on to social services....... After you've got on to the planning department, there's no way that has permission.

    In fairness, it does say:

The real joke is that sombody thinks that they can rent (even refurbished) this portacabin for:
"Rent will be €300 per week. Collected weekly."

1,200 a month? For a bedsit down a back lane? You could get a decent two bedroom appartment in the city center for that at the moment. Anybody that would pay more then 450 a month for that would be a fool.

I think that is the worst yet. And 300 a week! Thats 1200 a month!

Cloud ****in cuckoo land who ever put that up.

It could be a cozy place to live, but you would want to gut the place, put in some decent furnishings, lose the child, and then, maybe, 100 a week max.

Perfect place to run a "business" from, soon earn that €300.

The best are all "luxury" houses with mould and granny furniture and "gardens" which are usually 5 meters grass with wall around them and windows from near by houses overlooking.
Seriously -sorry to say that, but rental market in Ireland is disaster!
It is so hard to find any normal property, because if its not old -it tacky and furnished with bad taste!

    Like here:

    http://www.daft.ie/searchrental.daft?id=1120331 MODERN? :o

Look at those carpets and sofa covered with some rags! arghhhhhh!
    -tiles from 80's!

Seriously, prices and quality are ridiculous!

    (double glaze pvc windows -wow!)
