Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

A few years ago if someone said I would be a teacher I would have laughed till I cried. Today was my last day with some of my students. (a low level phonics class) The oldest kid there would have been 8.
I had a few pictures taken with them before they left and one little girl Becky was in floods of tears...nearly had me starting and all!
In the past few days I've had pictures drawn of me, a lovely framed photo, money, a post it with "I thank you" written on it just to name a few.
I am honestly so sad to leave this school after only 9 months of teaching great, mediocre and absolute beginner students. I'm heartbroken to be going to another school knowing in a year or so I'll have to do it all over again.

You know you're getting old when the first two statuses on your facebook in the morning are a friend's scan photo of their 2nd baby and another friend's photo of his new baby, this on top of two guys I went to school with putting up wedding photos last week. What happened to the days of dossing off school to play computer games with them??!
