I have play 3 around 6,months. Sounds really good loud and clear. relatively easy to set up also. Is costly so might get play 1 next.

I have the play 5 & 1. Really good sound. Got the play 5 in the states so worked out about €100 cheaper. Seems to be some 10% off offers over on hukd on these. Don't know if they can be delivered here but parcel motel could be an option.

How does the play 1 compare to the 5? worth the price upgrade

the 3 full blast can be heard all over my house so I would not pay any extra for the 5. Have not heard what the 1 or 5 is like though but I would get a 1 for a bedroom.

Play 5 is a richer sound. Very impressed with the play 1 though. It gives you a taste of the sonos experience at a reasonable price. I started with that for a bedroom and then got the 5 for living room. Really depends on the size of the room.

I got the PlayBar over Christmas and it is excellent. Haven't had a chance to test it with Computer games yet, but TV, DVDs and Music have a really powerful sound.
I've the urge to get the 2 additional speakers to get full 5.1 Surround sound now.

I've got 2 Play 1s and it's great. I have not stopped playing with them. I like it all so much I was considering getting a Playbar and a Sub but apparently the 5.1 set up is flawed because of the Playbar. It can't decode DTS audio. So i might just get the Sub to complement my 2 Play 1s.
