Didn't wake up until 10:50.... had a lecture at 9......ah jaysus.... I wouldn't mind, only I set my alarm for seven and slept right through it.....and I mised this lecture the past two weeks as well. :(

Missed 2 lectures yesterday because I'm too fond of my bed.. Then last night my neighbour and his girlfriend were up to 3am talking and laughing.. Text him and they eventually went to bed but it meant I decided to stay in bed this morning missing 3 lectures.. Woooooops! :(

Haha, this was me a few weeks ago. Not to worry :)

Decided to sleep through class this morning, just one of those days... Got a presentation this evening, not really looking forward to it. Wish I didn't have to do anything at all today to be honest.

Ugh! Why can't I deal with shizz rather than just leaving it hanging over me, eating at me, for weeks. At this stage, I just want it put to bed. My mind isn't a fun place to be at the moment. :(

My Gran died this morning. :(
She'd been sick for a while so it was expected. Everyone was just waiting for it to happen. But now we have to do the whole rosary-removal-funeral business which I hate. It's all so tedious, insincere, formulaic and expensive. I can't wait for the next 48 hours to be over.

I really wish England would stop thinking that the UK is still a great country and stfu about the EU. Times like these I'm glad we got out from under their thumb...

    Aaaarrrrggghhh!

I have a project to do for Friday, a booklet about 15 pages long, a poster, and a slide show and I won't have time tomorrow night, and barely any time the next night :(

Aaaand I have a 3 page essay on noise pollution for Friday because my class wouldn't shutup

And I have to print things out which were sent to me in some bizzare file type

If anybody knows how to open .RDS files, please let me know.

Blackboard decided to tell me about an assignment I have about twenty minutes ago. It's due for upload tomorrow at 8:55. It involves AutoCAD. I do not have AutoCAD. One person of the five I asked knew about it. While I liked the informality of college at the start, this is ridiculous. The bloody lecturers don't tell us that we're expected to do something, and then we get in trouble because we haven't handed anything up.

Bleh, I'm kinda starting to miss seeing all the people in Pharmaceutical & Forensic Analysis on a daily basis now... :(

A good rant would be nice too, apart from the problem of not really knowing anyone who would give a **** (or that I'd be comfortable ranting to/with/in front of) :(

I love living in the countryside of Wicklow... NOT
Took 5 hours to get home from Dublin yesterday, and 3 hours to get in there this morning, when it usually take about 40 minutes to an hour -_-
And loads of roads and bridges near where I am are after getting destroyed/wrecked,
And the guard that was killed in the floods was from my area and reffed a football match in my school only last week... R.I.P

DraftSight is free and will definitely do what you need.

I decided to pretend I din't see it. It looks like it will take upwards of two-three hours, and I don't care enough to stay up all night.

People who give out about smokers ALL the time. Jeez, I get you have an opinion, doesnt mean you have to push it in my face all the time and judge me. Its my choice and isnt harming anyone. Pollution is more likely to kill you these days than smoking!

I pre-assume she isn't doing it right beside these people who hate smoking so much.

Pollution compared to second hand smoke?

I dont smoke in close quarters to people who hate smoking unless they give me the go ahead to. Unless people are in a smoking area. Then I dont give a rats arse :P

What about the people who smoke just beside entrances of buildings, or worse, in the area between the outside and inner doors at the porch of a building - us non-smokers have to take a deep breath and walk through the cloud of smoke without breathing :p

Not saying that you do that IHC - it takes a seriously ignorant person to do that!

Not if you're an extravert. If you leave them without conversation for over 5 minutes they wither and die.

You said smoking, not second hand smoke.

Over half of all smokers die of a smoking related disease.

An often used fact but it makes you wonder what exactly counts as a smoking related disease? That label could include everything from various types of cancer to cardiovascular, neurological and stomach diseases. Basically a whole load of things that can kill anyone, not really surprising that many of the people effected are smokers. And of course smoking is unhealthy and does increase the risk of getting these diseases, but it doesn't exist in a vacuum, there are other factors at play which people are quick to ignore and blame solely on smoking -medical professions are particularly guilty of this. Which such a huge bias against smoking it's hard to find contextualised facts, so I'd take statements like the above with a pinch of salt.
