I'm currently reading issue 115. I'm pretty far behind. It's cool looking at things like the readers' poll when some time has elapsed. Sami Zayn winning wrestler of the year for 2014 is something that couldn't have been imagined 12 months prior I think.

That's one of the great reasons to keep a collection of magazines, although the digital back issues compensate somewhat for that. Not quite the same as paper, though!

Hope you get caught up and continue to enjoy the mag. Thanks!

Will I be able to download back issues to my iPod? There's been some previous issues I would've liked to have read. For the moment though it looks like I'm stuck back in January of this year, pondering how the Royal Rumble audience will react to Roman Reigns winning!

Bill Apter likes to say that the memories you get of buying an issue in the shop can never be replaced by downloading a file on your device.

Personally, I think he's right! Sometimes it's hard to argue with convenience, though. :)

I just gave away my big collection of wrestling magazine to a young lad who is mad into them! Wwe magazine and annuals , power slam and FSM. Used to buy FSM religiously but stopped when I moved to australlia in 2011 and never really picked back up on the hobby when I came back as the issues seemed to change from what they previously were.

The Powerslam editor Fin Martin released his book this week. It covers the early days, how he got into the business and behind the scenes stuff of the mag. I haven't got it but I bought and read quite a lot of Powerslam from the mid-90s until it closed on-and-off. It was a great resource before the internet became big-time popular.

Nice one. I think I'll be buying a subscription for that when I get paid. It's a very good price. It suits me because I don't let my magazines build up anymore. I threw out a huge collection of them about 10 years ago, all Raw & PWI.

Yeah I loved the issue & people complaining about it then :p
I miss them insulting Chris Jericho or putting down a bad match/product.
They'd have a field day on both this year.

Was the whole magazine done by one guy using different names, Fin Martin? It was a great thing to get back in the 1990s for all of the different rumours that would be reported in it. When I got older though it was the kind of thing that could be read in a couple of hours.
