From f4wonline about the Raw house show in Glasgow.
Punk was over as a face with a smattering of boos, but changed that by
addressing the crowd as "Thank You Dublin!" and throwing his shirt to
Paul Heyman, who celebrated like he'd won the superbowl.

The Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame issue is out today. Very interesting and controversial year with Cena, Jeff Hardy, Brock Lesnar and Tanahashi being eligible for the first time. Six have being inducted this year with five others came within 5 votes of being inducted. Some regard it as the real hall of fame as it is voted by the industry - 300 voters made up by historians, journalist, current and former wrestlers.

I'll be happy as long as Lesnar doesn't go in.

    Good news from JBL
Very happy WWE and I have worked out a deal for me to return on a full-time basis. There came a need when my friend Jerry Lawler had a heart attack and was not able to work, however, I realized how much I enjoyed being back and this was the basis for my decision to return.
I will doing Smackdown with Josh Matthews. I have filled in on Main Event some but mainly when Miz has a large part in the show and can't do commentary.
Raw is 100% Jerry's. He and Michael are a great team, I enjoy listening to Jerry and there are no plans for a three man booth with me in it. I am happy on Smackdown.
It looks like I will be doing PPVs as a representative for the Smackdown brand as part of a three-man booth with Cole and King.

WWE officials will be meeting with officials from the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Friday about the idea of doing a mega-show, perhaps a pay-per-view event from there. The Stadium holds around 75,000 fans.

WWE hasn't held a worldwide pay-per-view from the UK since the 1992 SummerSlam. WWE officials have also met with representatives from a stadium in London as well as Old Trafford, a soccer stadium in Manchester that holds 75,000.

    Source: http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/WWE_Meeting_with_Stadium_Officials_Overseas_Punk_Books_His_Own_Appearance_on_Popular_Show.html

  • If they did decide to do a PPV in the UK, The Millennium stadium would be perfect with the roof.

Old Trafford just wouldn't look right with the south stand (one of the side stands) only being 1 tier.

    YAY!

    http://www.nme.com/news/manic-street-preachers/67067
NME: Manic Street Preachers to create theme music for WWE wrestler Wade Barrett

WWE wrestler Wade Barrett has reportedly convinced Manic Street Preachers to write and record the music he enters the ring to.

Barrett is known to be a fan of the Welsh band and has a tattoo which reads, "Culture, Alienation, Boredom and Despair" – lyrics from the band's 1992 single 'Little Baby Nothing'.

When James Dean Bradfield was told about the super-fan in a Q Magazine interview, the frontman said he was keen to help Barrett out by recording a new theme song for him.

"Let's just put this out there – if you're listening Wade Barrett we will do your ****ing theme tune – just get in touch," he said. "That would be the ultimate Situationist, bizarrest spectacle wouldn't it? Us being played over the airwaves in some enormodome in front of 20,000 mad Yanks in Colorado somewhere."

Barrett has since spoken about the offer on Twitter, saying he hopes that the band can get into the studio for him. "That last link was JDB from The Manic Street Preachers offering to record my theme song. Mind: Blown," he wrote.

Barrett also spoke to Digital Spy about the band's offer, stating: "I've let the guys in the WWE in the musical department know about it and they're going to get in touch with the Manics. So fingers crossed we'll get some new theme music in soon."

Wade Barrett is from Lancashire in England and entered WWE in June 2010.

    Nov. 8th, 2012

    So unlikely.

Just let him use 'Faster' or 'Masses Against The Classes' instead or until they get around to writing him his own tune!

Wonder will WWE let them do it?

As you are possibly aware Drew wasn't on the UK shows this week as his mother was dying. Sadly she passed. He tweeted this:
Angela Anne Galloway passed away on Sat 3rd of November 2012 with her family by her side, no words were needed everything spoken through eye contact.

We opened our lives and hearts to world to share Mum and the kind of person and inspiration she was as we are so proud of all she had fought and accomplished and if she could inspire just one person it was worth it... the response was simply overwhelming for our family.

The night before she passed hundreds and thousands of people were thinking and praying for her and that was unbelievable to know that so many people knew Angela Galloway.

I wish we could thank everyone individually as everyones words have touched us all. From my WWE family, my brothers and sisters and even those we don't know, but we were all connected through the thoughts and prayers for her which were simply unreal.

We say goodbye tomorrow and its going to one big celebration with Mums request of no black, we re getting colourful.

She watched and inspired me to live my dream. At Wrestlemania in Atlanta my father Andrew Snr, brother John and Mum all came over for the family trip of a lifetime. I had them stay at the W hotel and made sure my brother and I took Mum and Dad to the W nightclub (if you know the W it tends to be where the over the top American socialites spend their time), the image will always stay with me. We then travelled across 5 states stopping for Raw and Smackdown tv tapings (they also met my boss Vince McMahon backstage at Smackdown who was so warm to them, with my Dad struggling to find words to say being a little bit taken aback, she didn't say anything and just smiled at him as he was allowing me to live my dream) We then travelled over 1000 miles in a seven seater National lampoon style having adventures along the way and at our final stop in New Orleans on the final night we took a horse and carriage around the amazing city.

Tomorrow befitting of our Queen she takes her final journey in the exact same manner. There will be no moments silence either as we are celebrating a woman who put more energy and achieved more than anyone could in 5 lifetimes, when we say goodbye it will be a round of applause because she had did it, she had overcame and she had succeeded in life.

    Thank you everyone
    The Galloway family.

    Angela Anne Galloway

    1961-2012

She is the heart of our family

A true testament of the human spirit

An inspiration to everyone she ever came in contact with

She was a wife, a friend, a sister, a daughter, an aunt and she was our mother

Through memories and her legacy Angela Galloway will never be forgotten

Give him your best here if you are that way inclined: https://twitter.com/TheDrewMcIntyre

Old Trafford just wouldn't look right with the south stand (one of the side stands) only being 1 tier.

They've also met with officials at Wembley and another stadium in London.

Whilst the MillStad makes sense, I'd imagine that Plan A would be SummerSlam at Wembley.

On the WWE Cardiff thing. Lords of Pain didn't copy and paste the second sting in the tail paragraph of:
It also should be noted a lot of the advances in the U.K. are the lowest they’ve been for a tour since anyone can remember. There are seven arenas that are considered “sister” arenas running this week and not one is sold out and some are only half sold out. In Cardiff, they are discounting tickets and that’s after cutting the about 13 pounds per ticket across the board. Right now WWE has sold on about 60% of the available tickets for the tour. Newcastle had a big walk-up and ended up being 95% full on 11/2, but they used to have tours where the entire tour was sold out before anyone boarded the plane to Europe. As of 11/6, the only sellouts on the tour were a Smackdown house show in London, where they used the smaller Wembley Arena instead of the O2 Arena that they had been running, the 11/5 Raw taping in Birmingham and the 11/6 Raw house show in a smaller arena in Glasgow. The Smackdown taping wasn’t close to sold out the next day.

The Sun had another write on the prospect here:

Dont see how Smackdown could come close to sell out anywhere right now, they've been slowly killing off that brand the last few years, completely killed it this year.

Agreed. They have really took the shine off Orton the past 18 months. Undertaker is no longer a touring attraction. While Sheamus/Del Rio/Barrett/Big Show all trade wins in dull feuds to the degree no one truly is special or gets over.

Marty Jannetty posted this on his Facebook a few minutes ago:
hey thanx for all of you expressing wonder and concern over them ugly looking ankles I got..maybe I shouldnt say too much right now for.. certain reasons.. but just know, they still work..and some days they dont really hurt that bad..it took a ton of hard work, training the ass off so that I could make it to the level where yall all know me at all..unlike Shawn, I wasnt a natural gifted athlete.. which is one of the reasons I tend to lean towards my students at the wrestling schools, who work the hardest, over those who may be a lil bit better but are naturals...oh, speaking of our Golden Boy Shawn..some of yall may have seen a lil while back where I said a couple of negative things about him, and..take it for what it is..I recently texted him about it..saying I wanted to apologize for things said in moments of extreme pain.. well, the Golden Boy yall love so much returned text saying, "I told you Marty, Im out of touch with the internet so I dont know what youre talking about"(the dude tweets more than anyone I know)..then he send a 2nd text saying, "are you still in high school?"....

hmm, for apologizing ?? no one made me do that, I just felt it in my heart, and the lil bitch comes back with that?..I guess thats something the spoiled rich kid didnt learn about in high school or other wise...this is the same brat, who recently in an LA Rockers Reunion show, when I showed him an old wrestling program and said to him, "bruh, isnt this sad, look at all our fallen brothers just off this one card (it was about 8 of the 16 guys on the card had died, all fairly young..Curt hennig, Big Boss Man, Rick Rude Road Warrior Hawk, etc) and his response was.."Marty, I dont really keep up with that kind of stuff, I just got other things to do, like ride my tractor"...well, anyway, I said all that to say>> when he saw my f"ed up ankles, he had the same reaction Bret Hart did when he saw them..a Ron Simmons moment, they both said>>>"DAMN!!"...difference being, Bret, who was never a tag team partner, nor best friend at one time..took action..told me what we can do to get it fixed or burn the people who should but wont fix it..Shawn on the other hand, never did more than say DAMN!..well, moving on..for all of you sports peeps out there and you in particular Donut, yall all know that when you have one injury or ailing part, you focus on it during the next event trying to protect it..which Donut, yep, thats how I broke the collar bone last night in a match(Hedges, you were a pleasure to work with, wasnt anything you did and I think our match was GREAT!!)..bumping is an art, a must, and a thing you have to protect yourself with when doing...bumped a bit different last night, got a new injury now..one that will heal..but Im tired or this ****..Im tired of being in such pain daily, when it could all be fixed..or should I go out and snort Peru and drink up Russia b4 the ones who I served, serve me???? and only need serving in a just way..aint wanting **** for free..this is OWED!!..but...this post was just to say THANK YOU!! to all those who expressed concern on the emails..love ya all..we'll be fine!! and back again!!

Sadly Sue Cook has pulled out but thankfully the Hitman Blazer Badge/Tie Combo will be available to purchase, sadly the boxes are slightly faded after promises weren't kept on their storage.

    PWInsider:
It's being reported that WWE officials are interested in El Generico, a well-traveled independent wrestler who has competed in numerous promotions around the world and is a former Ring of Honor Wrestling World Television and World Tag Team Champion.

No word on if WWE would like to bring him in as an active wrestler or possibly as a trainer in their NXT developmental wrestling territory.

    THIS
    WOULD
    BE
    SOMETHING

    For a million reasons.

Easily the best wrestler on the indies if you are talking about consistency and getting a good match out of anyone. Wrestlers supposedly pass car rides whether he has ever had a bad match. Super charismatic and connects with crowds like no other very quickly. A Daniel Bryan level talent. Outside of your fresh off of WWE level talents easily one of most high priced and in demand talents in world.

However he is pasty with not much of a body, in his current gimmick he doesn't speak in English favouring fake Spanish for comedy and under the the mask wise let's not go there.

I'd probably be fairly P###ED if the did that!
