Yesterday I tried to take a scumbag photo of my car. I don't think the water was deep enough though :P

    Ya dirty bugger!
TT 6 speed? I wish I bought that one a few months back. :o

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,555 ✭✭✭✭Marlow

No. It's a non-turbo, manual t-top with only 85000 km on the clock.

Very hard to find one that's as tidy as that one in the country.

230 bhp at 1470 kg is actually plenty and no coolant issues then due to lack of turbo. Also no engine sound muffling.

Has a cat-back and a stainless steel exhaust system, also.

There's not a spot of rust on the the car. Neither outside or under the car.

Matter of fact, it's in the republic about 4 years, but only has been on the road for approx 1 year. It was brought in to be sold, but sat in a dry storage for most of the time.

It's been out maybe once or twice in rain, never been driven in the winter and it's probably one of the few, where the T-top isn't leaking at all.

Mate of mine had it the last 9 months and was looking for a change of car. Not the best time of the year to sell, so I got it for a good price.

I'm not so much a fan of the 350Z or the 370Z, but the older ones, I really like. Especially the 300. This is a proper JDM Fairlady Z, which made it even better.

Picked this up a few weeks back - always wanted an alfa. TB is due, which I'll be taking care of this week, and one of the lower wishbones in the front is going which'll need to be done soon too. On the plus side, I've just put it through the NCT early so not due again for 15 months or so and it has a lovely red leather interior. Put up about 3k miles so far and loving it.

Quoting rules are fairly straight forward after you read the thread title :pac:

Yes correct. I just got carried away with the few changes and is often mistaken for one until you see the lack of recaro's.

Drove up Rimutaka Pass to Featherston:

    Rimutaka Pass was fun:

13Km super twisty road, up and down a mountain pass, 100kph road, elevation of 930m at max. My 3.0 H6 Outback seemed to do a much better job of tackling the road than the boat of a Lexus RX which was in front (who planted it on every straight bit them jammed on in a rolly polly way on every corner).

Bonus super wide pano shot, came out quite well:

It is indeed. I really like it, really comfortable and the big boot blah de blah. :D

Though neither myself or my dad have still grasped how it's always bigger than you think. Biggest thing he's ever owned.

Here is the car after a wash now with added mudguards, not ideal but until I can afford sideskirts they will have to do.
