Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Bulk oil

    Hi,

    Anyone know where I could by say 20-25 litre drums of oil.

    Castrol / Mobil 1 fully synthetic 5W-30 is what I need the most, but would be good to have a supplier that can get many types.

    Patsy Keoghan is yer man. He is somewhere in Meath, do a Google. Recommended by me :) and a supplier to many.

    BTW I phoned them last year asking for bulk oil, they has a laugh, bulk oil is like a 5000L delivery! You're looking for 25L / 60L / whatever drums.

    Also - all Motor Factors do 20L or 25L drums of most oils.

    I get millers 10w40 for 58 pound plus vat for a 25 L drum from givran in newry. Great oil and great price.
    Though if someone can find that cheaper down here let me know
    Much prefer it to castrol magnatec. Magnatec seems to leave an awful buildup in parts.
