cooking settings on electric hob

Hey all Just looking for a tad bit of advice with regards cooking temperatures on an electric hob. On a cooker setting 1-6 1-2 is low 3-4 is medium 5-6 is high Or is it more like 1-2 low 3 medium 4-5 high 6 very high Cheers in advance

There's no real definition of what constitutes low, medium or high in the first place, plus every hob is different, so it's just case of experimenting to be honest IMO.
