Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Ok so.
    Here's my advice (no abuse please, just my opinions)
    If you get a girls number don't text her every morning saying "good morning" .
    Put a photo up.
    Don't use a photo that has urinals in the backroundb- yes I always look at what's behind photo.
    Show your face in photos.
    Don't say "hi" and nothing else.
    Don't say " hi. How are you". You'll only get "I'm good thanks" 2 lines or more will get a better response.
    Don't say "hi sexy" and nothing else.
    Put up more than one photo.
    Don't have photos with you and your last girl friend in them.
    Don't offer photos of your private parts in your first mail to a girl.
    Be normal
    If you're 18 - don't bother to email a 37 year old woman asking her to come up and collect you from your mums house to show her a good time.
    Dont sent pissed off messages because someone didn't reply to you.
    Be nice.

    I just find it a bit off putting as I'm only on site 3 weeks. And hey, I'm single so long it's a bit of shock getting texts at 7am from someone saying good morning.
    Perhaps if I got a " good morning. Have fun in work today"
    Sure I can't be pleased :P

    Pretty much everything you posted above barring the naked pictures Ive experienced on PoF so it seems to be a common complaint for both men and women.

    I think when I didn't text him back the other day he won't be texting again. In fairness i was off work and had phone off so i didn't appreciate the pissed off text message the following day. Ah well.

    Well it's pretty hard to date if you don't :) Personally I don't think that anything beats a phone conversation for sussing someone out. If you have an enjoyable phone chat it bodes well for a future date.
