I've been thinking about what might or might not be on the horizon in terms of tvs, and am wondering if the good people at RS could let me know if my dream telly is anywhere on the horizon. Spec as follows:
    1. Full HD Sat Receiver and MPEG4 receiver built in
    2. At least 100hz scan
    3. LED screen
    4. USB connection which allows instant PVR / record facility natively within tv
    5. Ability to record 2 channels at once from either sat or terrestrial
    6. Supermodel skinny :-)

...and be in or around the 1k mark. Or am I talking utter nonsense.

Also, with what is likely to be a HUGE PUSH on HD / getting people to update before the world cup - should one wait until closer to the world cup for an even better deal?

    Hey Zaphodbeeb.

WOW  That list will be hard to find in all one screen :(.

I have been doing some checking today and can not find any LED screens that have built in FreeSat or Hard Drive. Even on the LCD front, there is no screen available to us as of yet which has all these funcitions!

LG have an LCD with Freesat and MPEG4 and is 100Hz

I'll see if I can find any others but at the moment its looking like your dream telly has not yet been made :(

An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
