    Hi Guys
I normally don't gamble so my knowledge is limited but for The WC I've thrown on one or two bets.
Ran into a problem today - lack of understanding.
there was a queue in the bookies plus not sure the girl knew too much anyway so I didn't query it.

    question is

    bookies offered a scorecast for
    rooney 1st goal and
england to win 2-0 of 33/1

however the singular odds of both events was about 60/1
    - 9/1 and 13/2 I think.
When I asked for the double they'd only give the scorecast and not the two combined.

Anybody shed some light on this ? as in why?

I asked at work and even the gamblors couldn't answer for sure.

Best answer I can give is that they related markets, ie - if Rooney scores first the chances of England winning 2-0 increase dramatically. But scorecasts are generally horribly priced so best just to stay away from them!
