Merc [dash lights]

    Hi guys the dad has a merc not sure of model it's 05 1.8. He was messing with the clocks in the to put the time right. All of sudden the whole warning signs come on and won't go away unless the key is pull ed out . A fellow he knows pull the battery out now the warning lights don't come on at all no incidtors .but the engine starts any ideals or is his computer in the car ****ed

    "Messing with the clocks"? If he was just pressing buttons on the dash it's unlikely he caused any particular damage.

    Please clarify and get the model.

    Does the odometer work?
    If there is no life whatsoever from the console, no lights and no clocks, then it's likely a fuse that blew.
    Use the owner's manual to find the fuse box and the fuse for the dash and see if it looks burned and/or replace with a same rating fuse.

    Turns out the clocks burned out
