Zoned Heating Problem

Hi looking for some help please....

We have oil fired boiler boiler system with multi zoned controls i.e. upstairs, downstairs and water.

We also have a solid fuel stove with back boiler that heats rads downstairs only and water

Our problem is the oil does not heat rads downstairs - it works fine for upstairs and water
The stove heats the rads downstairs fine
Any ideas on what might be behind this
    Thanks

Has this always been the case ?

No just happened recently - initially we thought oil had gone - but we got some and realised we weren't out at the time
Had worked fine all last winter

Hard to tell without knowing the exact setup with boiler and stove, but I'd be looking for a stuck motorised valve in the boiler setup...

Find the downstairs motorised valve, remove the head & turn spindle in-line with the pipe. See if this works.
Some heads are not removable though & some spindles are only a quarter turn to turn open flow position.
You can slide the lever to the manual position but this, if wired correctly, will fire the boiler so it cannot be left in this position.
