Hi ShirleyBassey, to embed a YouTube video in your post, just click the YouTube icon. Then paste only the end part of the YouTube link between the YouTube tags. Like this (I've removed the final slash / so you can see the code):

Code:
[YOUTUBE]rd5_3U-qAeo[YOUTUBE]
More here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showt...p?t=2056265452

I think this is the video you wanted to share ....

Quite a lot of people, actually. It's great though to see the link here as I know someone who purchased a Mansfield and I admire it every time I visit. A wonderful talent. But I think beach scenes and seascapes are what she is best at.

Cool. The paintings remind me of some of the later works of JMW Turner.

I just saw a Mansfield went for auction in Gormley's art auction, and sadly it wasn't sold. If I only had the mullah I'd have bought it. Sorry Thelma there's a recession on.

If my numbers come up tonight I'll buy it for you .......gosh, if that's the price for a Louise Mansfield, I shudder to think what Thelma commands.

Thank you, I did not know that. I am not an artist (at all, at all) but I do enjoy looking at art and know what I like. I like his portraits, they are wonderful.

Gosh his work is fab and as they say the apple didn't fall far from the tree.....perhaps he might be persuaded to do a portrait of Katy Taylor and her shiny new medal. Hear mother and son are out in force next week for People's art...

I saw Louise Mansfield at St. Stephen's Green last week but unfortunately I was rushing to an appointment so didn't get a chance to check out her paintings. I've had a gander online and noticed how alike the two sisters paint, Thelma has done wonderful sea scenes with hookers, red sails, which I love, Louise has some pretty beaches with children. Check out "Sisters" by Louise and "Girl in a Red Skirt". The styles are very alike. A very talented family.
