    Jesus, Carbury are well represented!

    Leinster MFC 1/4 Final:

    Kildare 0-5 Laois 2-3 (HT)

Two quickfire goals midway through the half the difference at the moment for Laois. Kildare coming back into it slightly but relying on frees. Very wasteful so far from general play.

    Leinster MFC 1/4 Final:

    Kildare 1-14 Laois 2-6

Much better second half although Laois offered little after their 2 goals.

Was at confey v moorefield yesterday evening. Poor conditions to say the least. A fair bit of bite to the game after the championship meetings. Nobody really stood out i suppose such were the inclement conditions. Roli looks fecked though. Came on for around 20 mins and just bitched at the ref.
    Confey 1-10
    Moores 0-11

I'm guessing McNally will drift out the field with Kelly closer to goal. The rest of the team is as expected.

Winning 0-12 to 1-2 at ht. Kildare totally dominant a mistake leading to the Laois goal after a minute

    FT: Kildare 1-21 Laois 1-7

Fine team performance. Totally in control once the first minute goal was cancelled out. There'll be no one getting carried away because Laois were woeful and looked every bit a Division 4 outfit today. It'll be a different story against a Meath team who looked on a mission towards the end of the league.

Great result today. Everyone worked really well. Bring on the royals!!!!!
At half time paddy power had kildare at evens at -5 we were 7 up at that time. Let's say I had a free day out!!!

Pat Spillane has just said that if there was one team that he would love to manage it would be Kildare because they have such good forwards...

I'm just going to check to see if hell has frozen over.

Christ, the suits. Mental that that is 17 years ago. I want to find the after game analysis!

After watching that it automatically was linked straight to the 2011 Brogan "free". Not a nice video

I vaguely remember Pat Spillane ignoring his half time ramblings and waxing lyrical about his mentor Micko - huge slice of humble pie for him that day!

Neil Flynn's recovery is at a more advanced stage than was anticipated a week ago and could possibly be involved at some stage on Saturday.

That would be a welcome boost. I'd worry about the scoring threat of our two corner forwards despite how well they performed against Laois. Meath won't give them the freedom of the park like they had the last day.
