Seen the entire first series. Prepare for bad - mediocre acting , crappy storylines , ok sets but decent makeup.

but ill watch it again cos it has zombies in it lol

The problem with most zombie films (IMO) is that they all try to do the same thing. It generally goes along the lines of "oh no, there's suddenly zombie everywhere", main character flounders about watching some gory deaths, manages to find a load of guns and then turns into chuck norris. They usually try to get to a safe haven and find that when they get there it's a myth or full of assholes.

And the problem with that is?

Half agree tho... by their v nature zombies can't really play a character driven role.....

    Nation is v watchable.

I know believable sounds really stupid re zombie movies, series, but walking dead is generally believable whereas nation is entertaining but not believable at all.

While it's not a zombie film and more an infection type film, I just watched Contrainment its very watchable for a UK production and has IMDB of 5.7 so definitely decent.

Figured few on this forum would enjoy the watch

For those of us with access to different netflix regions
    Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead

    wyrmwood-movie-review-chattanooga-film-fest-2015.jpg

is available on the American netflix site now. Between two minds on this one, if you like your zombie movie genre, you'll have to watch it; so I'll let people form their own opinions once they've seen it.

The trailer was posted before but here's a reminder

Also available on VideoMix app on Android for people who use that with AllCast.

Wyrmwood is a cracking film doesnt take itself too seriously and thats what works well for it I think

https://tugg.com/titles/range-15 unfortunately it probably won't make it to our shores. But for those who enjoy some cheese and comedy in your Zombie flicks.

I am hoping this is worth watching Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1374989/ .

I got into zombies because of "the zombie survival guide". The whole zombie genre has had one or two inspired moments that the rest of the dross has been scabbing off.

I want to see a realistic take. Even the likes of the walking dead series annoys me at times. If I hear "this is how it is now", one more time I think I'll have to punch the cat. Every time I see them stick a knife into a human skull like their cutting sponge cake it annoys me too. If the zombie apocalypse ever did happen people would be in for a rude awakening they first time they try and stick a kitchen knife into a zombie's head. They'll likely end up cutting open themselves instead.

The whole premise of zombie films these days is it's a cheap excuse for American gun porn. For people trying to survive the downfall of society they look to much like models in a hunting catalog. They have it too easy (which shows how out of touch most westerners are with the realities of life outside their cities) to ever really have any sympathy for their whining.
