Definately SF, they couldn't possibly be any worse than the horrible selfish greedy fu*kers that we've had running the country the past few decades.

Really ? Did you not hear about AOS fleecing us for two average wages in "expenses" ?

Ok he was fiddling his expenses but I doubt there's one honest politician out of all the parties. Sure we've been screwed over for years by the same old gangsters, we're as well to let SF have a go now.

Sinn Féin!? Why the flip are they on top!

What are you guys drinking? Ink?

Well, history tells us that Nationalist Socialist elements gain popularity during times of economic crisis.

Sinn Féin are a threat to national peace and security. We'd be at war if they ever get elected.

oh please! first of all what would we go to war with a few Hurleys and shotguns? Sinn Fein have proven themselves to be the only party capable of sticking to their ethos and the biggest threat to Ireland right now is Fianna Fail and what they did to Ireland. Sinn Fein, The DUP, Khemer Rouge, Pinochet and a certain party from 1930's Germany would be far more welcome to run this country than Fianna Fail ever would be.

Fianna Fáil is dead, the biggest threat to Ireland at the minute is the socialist/monetarist/Keynesian IMF and the antidemocratic EU fiscal pact.

Wow, you must have received an A1 is history, bravo!! We'd be far better off in a genocidal regime than under Fianna Fáil. I think it's appropriate that you but Sinn Féin in the same ledge as the Khemer Rough, Pinochet and Nazi Germany - all a lot of nutcases.

You could match his with your A1 in economics.

Right, so how else would you describe the IMF bailout and EU fiscal pact?

Certainly not socialist, if the end means is to save and strengthen capitalism and is full of people who could in no way be described as socialists. I would describe it as misguided.

Yet the funny things is, many people who either worked on or promoted the EU/IMF bailout (particule on the continent and in the IMF itself) were or are self-professed socialists. It's strange, a conflict of interests perhaps.

It is strange. The clue is in 'self-professed'. Just because someone calls themself a socialist doesn't mean they are one. A better thing to focus on is their actions. They will probably be left-of-centre, at a push. Another thing is that the idea of 'free trade' which organisations like the EU/IMF advocate is only 'free' in certain aspects, specifically when it suits them. They will use government institutions and international bodies when deemed necessary.

    I wouldn't be ar$ed voting again in this kun-tree
All the parties are just the same shower of ba$tards as the next party.

They are there to further their careers & pockets.
They do not care about the Irish people

Whoever gets into governent takes orders from Zee germans anyway.
Promises are made pre-election, promises are broken post-election.

It's like pi$$ing into the wind, after you do it first, you wouldn't be bothered doing it again.

The only way anything will change in this kun-tree IMHO is a revolution which wouldn't happen either because most of this kun-tree has become homosexual
