Hi, was wondering if anyone knows where I could get Aida or other needlecraft fabric (and embroidery threads!) in Dublin, preferably city centre or else somewhere accessible by public transport?

Hickeys do lots of those. Also the woolem mill has opened under a new name on Capel street. Not sure where exactly. Rubrnsque in powerscourt centre has some threads and aida also.

Is there anywhere outside city centre to buy this stuff? Like rathmines or Liffey valley?

There's a wonderful little shop in Rathmines called Sew - they do mostly quality quilting supplies but they might have some embroidery stuff too?

Thank you! It's annoying to have to trek into town for one thing...I'm regularly in rathmines so that's going to make life much easier ;)

Any of the Singer stores will stock the threads you are looking for.

Must check that shop out. Do you know if its possible to park on that road? If not I would probably park at the Swan Centre then.
