    My 2.5 has always been smokey on start up, and in particular if you have left it idling for any length of time.

    I'm pretty sure it's the valve stem oil seals but never bothered doing them.

    Interestingly it has been 2 years in storage and had it out last week and it's running like a clock, but still smokes on startup but you would close a motorway with smoke if you left it idling for an hour as I did after shampooing the mould from the front seats to dry them.

    Must get around to looking at it sometime
