cant get this bands name but the video is on a hill with a big screen in the background!! darkish video....
the band are only young n the bass player does backing vocals.......n at the very end of the video the band start gettin blown out of their position n it finally finishes wit the guitarist blowin up........but very crap explosions tho lol

the bass player sings "come in come in come in" then the guitarist sings something like la la la laa la la duno the lyrics tho!!!

please im goin insane..........there sort of grungey i wud say!!!

it could be like "The ........" jus cant remember..:eek:

Haven't heard the entire album, just songs off it, some people have compared them to Nirvana (not sure about that tho) I've only really heard the songs they've released as singles but they seem pretty good.
If you go to their official web-site, they have a few songs playing in the background as you browse through, so you can have a listen there

It's the ad on RTE that shows people walking around with a black/white effect on the screen. The lyrics are sung by a girl and are something like: "Everytime i look at you i fall in love and then i realise..." Thats not word for word but its how i have it in my head... and it's on repeat so its friggin' killing me!!

Does anyone know of a listing of song's used on Sky Sports' Ford Super Sunday? The song I want in particular was out maybe a decade ago and it began slowly with a great drum beat and then built up louder and louder.

Ian Dempsey played a song yesterday morning, sounded like one of those american green day type bands. Quite a rocky song but with catchy vocal harmonies.
Lyrics were something like:
"I wanna be your fantasy.................wannabe, wannabe!"

der is a new song out at the moment. its from an irish artist but i dont know his name or how the song goes.....i think he is from northen ireland.....

dont even know any of the lyrics, i've only heard it twice

I dont wanta stop, or i dont wanta free ride........i cud be miles off wit dis.....

i think he mentions movies at the start,

Duke Special...don't understand what everyone thinks is so great about this. Maybe it's just not my thing. I can take or leave his singing voice too....but hey at least it's not the usual x factor made up crap...

I've just been transferred to a new department at work where there's no radio. Im delighted because if I hear that feckin song again I'll shoot myself it's so bloody annoying and they're playing it off the air a la James Blunt

Hey Peeps! been bugging me 4 a while now...but can anyone tell me the name and artist who sings the song on the lifestyle ad? Its when the girl and guy break out of the posters when the shop closes and they start sprinting around the shop and stuff! if anyone gets it they'll get a big hug! lol! thanks xxx

OK, people were looking for the Jameson film festival ad song...

Bad news I'm afraid, I emailed my sister (she works for Jameson, in the marketing dept. or something, was involved in the film festival stuff anyway), here's what she said:

"the music was composed especially for the ad. so its not by a band or anything and there doesn't seem to be a name for it either."

Moving on.
I'm looking for a tune, and this will be the hardest thing ever to describe, so here goes!

It's a sort of funk/soul track, but more modern sounding, like something David Holmes would do.
It's in at least one movie where it would be a sort of moderately cool movie, and in a moderately cool slow motion walking scene or something - as in maybe not that, but something like that, ya get me?

There's no lyrics.
