Forgive me if this is a stupid question but i'm hoping someone can help me.

I went on to revenue.ie and in my tax credits it has :

    PAYE tax credit-€1650
    Personal tax credit-€650

I then have an option to claim it but underneath both of them it has "claimed".What does this mean.

I'm earning on average €500-€550 before tax depending on hours worked.

Am assuming that you are referring to paye anytime. The personal tax credit and paye credit are the standard credits available to most paye workers. They are normally granted automatically and form part of the paye method of collecting income tax.

You may wish to read a few of the links below as everyone should understand how this system works.
