Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Help with transferring pics to laptop

    Can anyone explain to me in simple terms how i can get the pics from my samsung galaxy onto my laptop ?

    I have over 1000 pics that i need to back up and im pulling my hair out here

    Connected the usb and in devices and printers 'samsung android device usb 'comes up but says it needs to be troubleshooted-which i did and it says there is a driver missing ??

    Now i dont have a clue where to go from here i googled it which came up with loads of results but i cant make head nor tails of the advice

    Any help would be greatly appreciated as the pics are very important and im always afraid ill lose or break my phone

    The simplest way for you would be dropbox IMO.

    1. Sign up for a free 2GB account on your PC
    2. Install the program
    3. Install app on your phone
    4. When asked, ENABLE camera sync
    5. Watch as all your photos sync wirelessly to your PC any time you're on wifi.

    You can then move them from your dropbox folder to "My pictures" or wherever you like then to keep from filling up the 2GB.

    Its a good solution as every time you're on wifi it'll be done automatically so you dont have to think about it.
