So, what'd everyone get? Samsung Tab 10.1 for me!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,014 ✭✭✭Colm!

    an ice scraper
    three incredibly small books
    a bag of Carambars
    two fancy-looking notebooks
€20 voucher for a sports shop
    some weird t-shirt

oh, and cash, there's that :L

but no, I didn't get a fancy phone, tablet or anything massive. I bought some DJ gear yesterday with my own cash, and I haven't earned back that cash in presents :L

Loving the day itself for what it is though; christmas day swim going well, and now there seems to be some massive "chill and listen to Lisa Hannigan" session going on. Who needs presents? Now go on. Make me jealous.

    wacky socks
    Leinster underarmor and hoody
    Urban Decay eyeshadow ( :D)
    Some James Patterson books
    Money
    A book voucher
    Forever 21 voucher
And my personal fav an "i'll try be nicer if you'll try be smarter" mug :pac:

On the whole presents front, I've now got a new phone, a pandora necklace, a teddy, a book, earrings, and this:

    Merry Christmas everyone :D

My iPhone 4 went missing, presumed stolen, when I was on a school trip to Italy over midterm, so my parents replaced it with an iPhone 4S, ergo I didn't get much between my birthday in November and Christmas. I didn't mind too much, cos I got the new phone - plus I won an iPad 2 in a competition a few weeks ago so in effect Santa came early :3

I did get a few nice things though:
    - A keyboard-case and a Wacom bamboo stylus for the iPad
    - The first season of Castle on DVD (I've seen all three seasons (and the current 4th), and I'm obsessed, but they only just recently released the DVDs in this region)
    - Sennheiser HD 218i headphones (they sound great and have a smart remote like iPhone standard earphones...I love them)
    - A few DVDs (Submarine from my brother...I don't know how he knew I loved that film...)
    - Cash from the relatives
    - SO MUCH LINDT CHOCOLATE UGH
    - And the best one: a 'Wilson' volleyball a la Cast Away.

I'm surprised I got as much as I did all things considered. It's not the gifts that matter anyway (who am I kidding though).

Best present = time off of school. I'm wrecked with all the work of the last term!

Merry Christmas Everyone! (even though I am a little late...)

I didn't really ask for anything this year so everything I got was a surprise.
I got loads of Harry Potter stuff (HP nerd alert...:D)

    - Harry Potter - Page to Screen - it's like 600 pages!!!
    - Harry Potter DHpart2 DVD
    - Harry Potter Lego years 1-4, and 5-7 for PS3
    - Harry Potter DHpart2 for PS3 too.
    - Harry Potter Calendar and Posters.
    - Some CDs and an itunes card
    - One Direction tickets (please don't judge me...four tickets - my sister is the fan and she needs someone to go with so I got a ticket too.)
    - Books and some new clothes
    - Oh and, organ shoes! (needed them so badly! Trying to play the organ with shoes that are a size too small isn't such a good idea! :D)

So yeah, I was happy with what I got...it was one of the first years in ages that I actually said "you know what? There isn't actually anything that I need really bad!"

So I hope everyone had a good day! Did you get much hw over the holidays? Most of my teachers were really nice, and the only hw I got was French and Biology. :)

So true! I was more excited about the time off school than Christmas this year! I really missed being able to stay up half the night reading and not having to worry about school early in the morning. Today I didn't wake up until 12.30. :D
