    Dear Patrons,
    The Festive season has hit with a bang! In a week of key injuries and suspensions to our FPL teams - the draft has just gotten more interesting.
    First, a dis-honourable mention for our one time noble leader- Copper pipe. He is a bit like Liverpool in his slip down the table this last few weeks. However Shano88 seems to be like Man united with another strong week as he continues his push up the league. Spacecowboy has had a blip that has allowed RoryC to make his presence felt at the top. Bezuaua holds on to top spot but with an injury to Aguero there is hope for the rest of us.
    At the foot of the table we have some strong scores from Myself, Dahat and $hifty.
    Slingerz is doing his best to join us in the battle of the also rans.
    A score of 3 points gives Lucas Hood the weekly wooden spoon but a cup of the finest Mulled wine for Manual Man for his top score of 27 points and his 3 place jump up the table.

    There is only one real story in this weeks update.
    RoryC has come in with 57 points. The hamsters have been up all night checking this score, but it holds true. Despite Zabaleta giving 0 points the rest of his team chipped in with a total of 57 points. Outstanding performance for the departed one.
    Elsewhere Shano88 has moved up to joint 3rd place and our one timeleader Copperpipe continues his slide down the table to 7th. Swiper has also made a jump up the table to 8th place.
    At the foot of the table it is much of muchness really. Some steady scoring for those of us in 15th place or lower. But Fingers (3 points) and Manual man (7 points) need to look over their shoulders as a dramatic improvement in performance will be needed to avoid getting sucked in to a relegation dogfight.
    FPL made some changes over the weekend to some players names. Diego Costa has become Costa and the fada over the 'a' in Fabregas's name was also changed to point in a different direction. Rightly messed up my database, but scores should be ok now.

    Dear Patrons,
    Some very high and low scores in this weeks update.
    But first to the top of the table. Rory C keeps getting those steady scores but Shano88 has put in a big week to reduce his lead to 26 points.
    We have seen big leads whittled away already this season - Copperpipe (now down to 9th) can testify to that. Shano88 has been steadily rising up the table these last weeks and there is a long way to go to the end of the season.
    For those of us outside the top 6 it does seem like a title challange is off the cards though.
    Manual man put in a great week with a score of 45 points and jumps up the table as a result.
    CSF, Copperpipe, F1ngers, Lucas hood and Trigger had a bad week with single digit scores.
    The transfer window seems a long way a way for some of us. But with some key players returning from injury and ACON on the table things can change quickly. Thats what I keep telling myself....:)

    A bit of an average week in FPL draft terms.
    There is no major change at the top of the league. But Nuts 102 has posted a big score to keep himself in the running.
    Manual man and CSF are making steady progress up the league over the past few weeks and I usedtolikebusts is also keeping the heat on the top 6. Parlance is also making moves.
    Copper pipe posted the weekly low of 5 points. I will soon stop commentry on our one time leader as it is a shameful desent down the league table. Down to 13th.
    Swiper, Spacecowboy, Dhat and Fingers also posted some low scores this week.
    Lets enjoy a little breakfrom FPL, the FA cup should be a welcome distraction.

    Not too much movement in the tables this week but at the top we see Shano88 and Bezuaua have posted some high scores to slightly close the gap on RoryC. Bezuaua posting this weeks highest score.
    The top 3 increase the gap from the chasing pack.
    Last week we reported that Nuts 102 had posted the highest score. Well this week he has cracked under the pressure and posted the lowest score.
    Swiper and Dahat post some decent scores to move slightly up the table and at the foot of the table $hifty closes the gap on Trigger to 12 points.
