Are you supposed to study the summer before 6th Year

    Im looking to go to america but Im not sure if Im supposed to study or not in summer.

    Go to America and enjoy your summer.
    Don't leave fifth year confused about or misunderstanding something in any subject. That will give you a good basis to work on when you start studying in 6th year.

    Presumably you are in 5th year now. Work hard and try to achieve the points you want in the LC in your xmas and summer exams, then enjoy your summer. The only reason I think anyone should study during summer is if they are taking up a new subject. It would be wise to study for that to get a good grounding in it apart from that it's not necessary and you will burn out before the mocks.

    No. You are not supposed to study the summer before 6th year.

    Teachers and parents must leave some kids terrified. LC isn't so hard that extra study 8-10 months in advance would make the slightest difference.
