Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    hey guys, have an ecommerce website and a backend CMS. We need changes made, they guy who did this work for us also hosts our website. We have asked for these changes months ago (both to the CMS and the front end) and been onto him relentlessly nothing has happened. At this stage, we need to get someone else to make these changes. What is involved with this exactly? Can he make things awkward if he wants to?

    Nobody is going to be able to realistically answer this without knowing which CMS/E-Commerce Solution and an overview of the changes you require

    Yes, very.

    I'd start thinking about building an exit-plan now in case things deteriorate.

    The biggest problem here would be getting the access details from them if you need them. Apart from that it shouldn't be a major problem to implement a few changes.

    What are the actual changes you want?
