I need to go to Navan this evening and used the 'Buy Tickets' function on the Bus Eireann site to estimate how much it'll cost me. And it's telling me €9.30 Adult Return!

Is this right? I get one of the commuter trains from Kildare and by many it would be viewed as being a more expensive method of travel than buses. Yet a return to Dublin is less than a single on the bus to Navan.

It's no wonder that the N3 gets clogged up with cars every day if the buses on the route are so expensive.

That's the single fare, best price for a daily return is €12.40 for the 26 miles trip. €41.70 for 10 journey weekly is the best value you will get.....

All routes to Meath that don't have competition are ridiculously expensive. Most expensive service per/km in the country last time I looked.
