If that were the case, I guess I as long with every other red blooded male would be guilty as charged, on numerous counts!
Because girls and women never masturbate!

I'm so sorry the term the media uses offends you

Try reading that again, these things have been an issue for so long as there has been the means for it, the media is miles behind.

Me thinks omegle or something will be the next big evil... that is when they find it... several years after its peak

    When its two bloody late

I would dispute that it is 'after its peak' as that implies it is on the wane. The media in this case are reporting on a prosecution. Yeah it isn't a new phenomenon but criminal prosecutions as a means of battling it are relatively new, or at least the frequency of these prosecutions appears to be.
You picked one part of my post and took it as an opportunity to give out about the media. What was the relevance?

It does have relevance, parents should be paying attention to their kids and not the news or legislators, when it comes to technology the kids will get there first the legislation will take years.
And "after its peak" was refering to a website which is most certainly not the next facebook and therefore will go into decline.

    Pay attention.

I don't see why your trying to make an argument out of this.

I'm not 'trying to make an argument', I'm trying to see what your point is as it seemed you cherry picked one part of my post so that you could make a point that wasn't relevant to what was being discussed.

With all due respect, you made absolutely no reference to parents paying attention to their kids in the first place - you've only mentioned this now. What you said was
Bloody media, Its been around since the 3310 just because its now "sexting" as opposed to sex-texting doesn't mean its a completely new phenomenon.
Saw shag-bands in the news a week or two ago as well, only how many years late?

If your point was that parents need to be monitoring what their teenage kids are doing and not relying on the media to do it for them, while I agree, I've no idea how I could have known that from this post.

If your point was that the media are talking about something that has been around for quite a while, again, they're reporting on a criminal prosecution, something they do fairly regularly.

The person who filmed it should have a pineapple shoved up his arse.

How do you know he didnt? Maybe there was another part that they edited out.

This will haunt her for many years to come. Ten years down the road she will be recognised by someone who saw the clip and had a pedal to it.

To an extent I can see where youre coming from on this one but Id be reluctant to go along with awarding the girl the victim card in all this.

By all accounts she was fully consenting to what took place and was aware of and didnt seem to have much issue with the presence of the other guys.

Now in this day and age it is reasonable to assume when there is a group of teenagers about its highly likely that at least one of them is going to be in possession of a camera phone.

Im not a big fan of the law protecting people from their own stupidity. Sure she was young but its pretty obvious from her behaviour that she wasnt exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer either.

And if anything the publicity arising from this case is likely to promote the circulation of these pictures and make it more probable that someone will remember it ten years from now.

............................................................................I will say though that most of the times I had sex at that age, it happened when me and whatever girl were sober. Looking back now, the girls were quite troubled.

Do you feel that because the girls were troubled then you are some kind of sexual predator/deviant? You think the boys who did this should be charged, then they are guilty of the exact same crime as you were.
