Eccles Hotel Glengarriff...food?

I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about the food in the Eccles Hotel, Glengarriff? I'm thinking of booking a wedding reception there. The hotel seems like a nice place in a beautiful location, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the food would be like. I'm happy with ordinary food rather than haute cuisine if the quality of the ingredients is good and the food is hot and served in a timely fashion, but I don't know anyone who's eaten there and it's closed till April!

Better suited to the Cork County forum than Food & Drink.

I was at a wedding there before and the food was fine. I dont remember any complaints, my only caveat is the dance floor is very very big so you need to have a large wedding to have enough people on it to get things going.

It's alright, nothing to write home about. Lovely location but the hotel is a bit tired.
