He came back to the house with flowers for Kylie as a surprise and hid upstairs when Gail and Kylie came in and heard them talking about it.

And talk about offloading the kitchen sink there and then !

"David, yer not home, are ya?"

"Why of course dear, I am just listening in on how you're a cheating cow"

I think she realises that even if they do win the court battle, the baby will have grown up with Tina and will have bonded with her at that stage so to take him away would be cruel.

Unless the court case would take years the baby would have hardly " grown up with Tina" he might have bonded with Tina but that doesn't mean he can't bond with Izzy if he lives with her full time. Babies who are adopted when they're months old will bond with their new parents. It might not come as easily as if they were born into the family but it's all very worth it when it happens.

I just think Izzy gives up a bit too easily.

The court case would take months, probably years. So yeah, the child would have bonded with Tina. So Izzy thinks she's doing the best thing for him by giving up the fight for him.

Yes, Cofy I was thinking with the way David was acting, Kylie, Gail and
Nick would have know something was up. I also wonder if the newer writers know the history of the characters. Recently Roy said he didn't believe in ghost, but years ago he was interested in investigating the Rovers for spirits..

I had completely forgotton about that.
wouldn't their be a security camera at Nicks apartment? No one even asked.
I know its emotional, the baby momma drama, but its Anna and Owen act like they are 10 year old's sometimes. I'm burn out on baby stuff. Give the kid to Fiz, she seems to be collecting them.

    Brilliant:D:D:D

Just because it's easier doen't make it right. So if a baby bonds with a parent they should be left with that parent no matter what is right for the baby.

How would the baby feel when he grows up and learns that his parents just gave him up and didn't bother fighting for him cos it was too hard? Suppose if they can't fight for him they don't deserve a baby.

You're missing my point, Izzy feels its right because she's thinking of what is best for the baby, I can kind of understand that.

Anyway, it's pointless arguing about this, Izzy and Gary get the baby back and all will be back to normal in a few weeks anyway :pac:

I see your point. Maybe i just think if you're desperate for a baby you wouldn't give up the poor wee baba so quickly.

As you say it all works out in the end. Will be hard on Tina though. I like Tina, just think she is taken over by her hormones and love for the baby. She shouldn't have been able to do this, not having had a baby before.

Tina has not been seen spending much time at the hospital either lately she can go get her hair done and be in the pub socialising and back working, plus she did ban Gary and Izzy from seeing the baby

He's a thick sod, so no he wouldn't think of checking.

You know if Faye just disappeared no one would've noticed :pac:

It was a bit odd that nobody mentioned bringing her to see the baby!

Tina walks into the cafe, in which Anna works and izzy and Gary practically live, and is surprised to see izzy, Gary and Anna there.

Who is the father of Tina's baby?

Gary is the father and Izzy is the biological mother. Tina just carried the baby.

Why did Tina call the baby Jake? I thought she had renamed him Joe.

Lots of unreality in David being transformed back to evil David. You would imagine that at least some of his family might have noticed or might have taken a hint from what he's been saying or behaving.

You'd think that there would be some kind of security in Victoria Court or whatever its called.

Don't the bookies have a camera as they showed Lewis stealing dockets and kissing Deirdre before so surely David taking Peter's lighter will be on it
