I actually enjoyed White Chicks. It is a truly awful film but I ended up enjoying it somehow (Terry Cruz was awesome in it I suppose)

I wouldn't include Con Air in this. It's quality.

I would count Independence Day though and that would get my vote. I love losing myself in that film for a couple of hours.

I 'AVE GOTTA GET ME ONE A'DESE!

An honourable mention for Fatal Deviation.

A serious case of, it's so bad it's good. Irish martial arts film with crap dialogue, rubbish acting and best of all, Boyzone's Mikey Graham. :pac:

Tis on the aul YouTube in 8 parts. ;)

    Freddy vs. Jason.

Apart from the terrible acting, the special effects are ridiculous.

Anytime someone gets cut the blood sprays out of their body.
Also when ever the killer aqppears Nine inch nails starts playing...

    The cheese is delicious.

Independence Day, it's complete cheese from start to finish with some shocking acting (mainly Bill Pullman) but I will watch it every night of the week if it is on.

you might have found independance day cheesy but i seriously doubt that was intentional on the part of the makers , independance day IMO is humourless and incredibly dull despite the enormous budget and special effects

    Demolition Man

"Send a maniac to catch a maniac"

Demolition Man is a classic so many quotes from it, this for me does not fall under the crap film category but in line with Commando there both classics, proper 80,s to early ninety action flicks did exactly what they said on the tin, pleny of explosions and quotable lines they were never meant to be oscar winners just pure fun.

For me a film that falls under the category of crap but I still like it is something like Little Nicky.

    Commando is enjoyable but Muck.

    "Let off some steam Bennett!"

it has the biggest miss match of a climatic cinema fight ever. in the red corner we have arnie who is built like a brick **** house and in the blue corner we have a fat ****er with a moustache that looks like a member of the y.m.c.a

Has to be 'Showgirls'. It's terrible, but also just so, so good. Some of the dialogue is just some of the funniest sh*t I've ever heard, not to mention what has to be one of the most ridiculously manic sex scenes of all time. I actually think it's one of my favourite films. Great movie to get drunk to.
I watched it again a few weeks ago: better than I remembered. I thought that Nomi did that OTT sex thing on purpose. It could be interpreted as a version of the lap dance she had given him in the club, i.e. it was business, not personal, like porn.

My first choice of "crap" movie: Miss Congeniality. If you don't like a joke, don't worry, there'll be more along in a minute. :p

From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch’.

Troll 2 is one for the ages. It's just so horrifically bad that I cant help but think the crew gave up half way through and just made it into a slapstick comedy.
I also love the Wicker Man remake starring Nic Cage. Cage is just so over the top and mental that the whole thing just becomes a weird parody of the original.

The National Treasure series is so bad its hilarious. I remember watching one of these in the cinema after having a smoke and laughing my ass off the whole way through.

I'd argue Nicolas Cage is a fantastic actor. His good films are good (Leaving Las Vegas, Bad Lieutenant) and his bad films are brilliant if you're in the mood (Wicker Man, National Treasure)

I adore ****e films, the type that are just so awful that even the cast seem to know it, making them have more fun with the whole thing.

My top two, because I can't pick one over the other, would be McBain (Christopher Walken shoots down a plane with a handgun while flying another plane! And the bullet does not smash the windows of either cockpit! Plus let's not forget the scene where a rebel pours her hearth out about her problems and seeing her friends and family die, only for Walkin to compare it to Woodstock!) and The Incredble Melting Man. TIMM has easily the worse acting I have seen in a film, it's a joy to actually watch these people die! The special effects were quite ahead of their time but good God they were wasted on a horrible film that I adore :D

Not my favourite crap film (Have to think about that one) but one of them has to be Hot Tub Time Machine A crap story with some great laugh out loud moments.

Craig Robinson steals the show for me all the funny parts in it are his, the part where he says "It must be some kind of hot tub time machine" and then looks right at the camera as if to say "Yeah I know". Go to 1:20 on the vid.

Another great line is when they have been shown to their room by their one armed bellboy (George mcfly to you and me ;) ), they go back in time and when the bellboy knocks at the door Robinson shouts "Where's your missing arm motherf*cker?!!!"

It's crap but makes me laugh :D

    Mortal_Kombat_poster.jpg

Definitely Mortal Kombat. It's an awful, awful movie, but i just love it. The terrible acting, dodgy cgi, and the excellent soundtrack :pac: all add up to make my favourite crap movie ever. Shang Tsung as the cliched bad guy, the weird looking Goro, Sonya, Kano, Sub Zero/Scorpion, Johnny Cage...pretty much everything you could want from a Mortal Kombat movie.

It has some great fight scenes to be fair.

I view Mortal Kombat as a bunch of cool fight based music videos strung together by something vaguely like a plot.
just where did Johnny cage go when Liu Kang was fighting Reptile???

Not sure if it's crap enough to count in this category but a great recent B Movie is Lake Placid - Oliver Platt and Brendan Gleeson and Betty While all shine.

For a twist on the normal highschool drama I think Clueless and Ten Things I Hate About You need a mention - probably not coincidental that both are based on classic works.

And speaking of Heath Ledger, A Knight's Tale is a brilliant tongue in cheek romp that seems to get slated by everybody, but I love everything about it.

Demons and Demons 2, brilliant pieces of film making. Basically people get possessed by demons from watching a film about an exorcism in the theatre. Best line from the film was something like "we've got to stop this film!" In the context of how uber cheesy and badly overdubbed the film is (made in Italy) its a very good line.

Ricochet with Denzel Washington and John Lithgow in 1991 is the first film that springs to mind. Definitely has the "crap" element in alot of parts. It makes me laugh but its not a comedy. It really is a B movie in all sense of the word. John Lithgow is just a superb evil genius. Actually, the more I talk about it, the more I realise how great it is, and that it doesn't belong in this thread at all!
