Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    * Byron Saxton interviewed Daniel Bryan in the ring.

    * Daniel Bryan defeated Kane by DQ when Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble hit the ring. Big Show and Seth Rollins went to attack Bryan but he retreated. Roman Reigns came out and stood next to Bryan for a face off with the heels. Triple H came out and announced a six-man main event for later - Bryan, Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Kane, Rollins and Big Show.

    * Damien Sandow, The Miz and Alicia Fox defeated Naomi and The Usos. Sandow got a pop almost as big as Bryan.

    * Paul Heyman comes out. Heyman talks about what happened on RAW but Seth Rollins comes out to confront him. Rollins is heated and wants to cash in on Brock Lesnar tonight but he's not here. Heyman cut an awesome promo and the two teased working together after the Royal Rumble.

    * Natalya defeated Nikki Bella in a non-title match.

    * Bad News Barrett retained over Sin Cara in what was said to be a very fun match.

    * Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns defeated Kane, Big Show and Seth Rollins in a really good main event after Bryan pinned Kane with the Busaiku knee. The babyfaces all got big pops and everyone worked hard. SmackDown ended with the faces celebrating.

    * Bryan vs Kane is set for next week. If Bryan does not defeat Kane, he will be out of the Royal Rumble.

    WWE have some cheek. Essentially cancelling Bryan vs Kane and putting it on Raw AND having Bryan go back to wrestling twice a night in his first show back in the ring.

    Note Smackdown now airs:
    Thursday in America
    Wednesday in Canada (Thursday is a big Ice Hockey night)
    Friday in Ireland

    it's kind of interesting that Bryan got the pin.

    I thought the most likely result was Reigns pinning Kane.

    Meant nothing though, obviously.

    The report I read has the rematch between Kane and Bryan slated for next week's Smackdown. Bryan wants to be the focal point for Smackdown since its moved nights they're hoping to rebrand it and make it a bigger deal than before.

    Haven't been a regular SD! viewer in years, if it can become "The Daniel Bryan Show" like when Edge/Batista/Punk did I'd love that. Hope they do a brand split again

    Decent show. DB looks like he hasn't missed a beat.

    Heyman/Rollins segment was tremendous.
