This is probably REALLY long shot.
But, about 5 years ago I heard a song on Alices Restaurant/ Xfm and never found out who it was.

It was acoustic sounding like Will Oldham or Beck (singing one of his acoustic numbers) and I think the lyrics mentioned "walking" or travelling or something.

There was a really cool, nice part in the middle where he whistled for about 20 seconds..
Any ideas who this might be!!!

If not, any ideas on any other songs with good whistling parts??

I'm stumped - and the only other whistly song I can think of is "Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay", which isn't exactly an Xfm regular...

    Thanks all the same Lola.

It was on a battered acoustic guitar but was slightly more lo-fi than "Dock of the Bay"!!

His name might have been Jason or something.

    Ah sure, never mind.
