Music files wont play on default player

I copied a few music files onto my extSD card and added them to a playlist on the default player. I copied a few music files onto my extSD card and added them to a playlist on the default player. However when I press play on any of them it says "sorry, the player does not support this type of audio file".

The file type is .mp3 and is the same as others I've on the card which all work file.

When I go into astro and play the files then they work perfect using the default player, but when I go back into the player app as normal the above error comes up.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or not doing?

I've an S3.
