The gift is for people who have signed up for PM but never used it

I haven't used Parcel Motel for quite a while, but did use it maybe 5/6 times in early days. Receive random text this morning from PM, advising parcel ready for collection and, lo and behold, package with slippers, towel and a few chocolates waiting for me. Nice!

When I originally signed up a few days later I received a email asking me to reply to a different email address to claim my free gift.. I didnt ask for a free gift , they offered. . The gift has never arrived..

Im sure if someone was wanting to give you something for free you happily accept ;)

Anyone else get this email? Wonder what it is?

Just signed up with them there and yup got the email. I can't believe I only heard about parcel motel recently! I buy loads of sh*t online and it does cost me a fortune on postage from the UK.

You're not missing out on much.

Two chocolates and a teacloth, the slippers went in the green bin.

Me too. Wouldn't have ordered the item through them if I knew about price hike. Their proposition isn't great as an alternative to having uk seller post to Ireland, only if seller refuses to

That's the best gift going sure!

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,999 ✭✭✭Wossack

happily enough, my account has credit on it that now isnt divisible by 3.95, so Im somewhat committed to having to top up by some random amount in future

    thanks PM

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,935 ✭✭✭TallGlass

Why the 3.95 ? Why not make it 4.00?

How dare they increase there price by 1.50. 1.45 is fine

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,610 ✭✭✭✭Muahahaha

Price increase has taken the gloss off Parcel Motel somewhat, especially if you're ordering smaller items from the UK
