    Perhaps the code has been tried too many times, leave the radio on until the lines start to flash, could be a few hours, then you should be able to enter it!

    i wud say thats probably wot happened-code inputted too many times. The lines have always been flashing. Tried to leave it on lastnight but was afraid it wud run down the battery. !!! fella i bought it off said if battery dies u need some tool to unlock as it immobilises engine or something. Was in the ford garage last week and he just said radio broken didnt really look at it. Think ill just go get another one and stick it in instead.

    Do you not think it would be a lot cheaper to have it decoded / repaired than it would to replace it.

    Call into ford they might be able to fix it. Nearly sure they can reset them with the ids scanner thing.

    Hi,

    I had to change my batetry on my fusion and the radio ask me for the keycode.
    Its a 4500 RDS Eon model with serial number is M084644.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Can anyone please help get me the radio code - I pressed the 6 and 1 and the numbers I got were 4080503 with the letters MGP DJS in front. Is this the serial code. Thank for any help :o
