Hi all....looking for a bit of advice regarding runners....relatively new to running and currently wearing Asics Gel DS-19. I find them very comfortable to run in and they have caused me no bother.

I mostly run on the road and have completed a good few 10k organised events and also the Wicklow 1/2 mararhon earlier in the year. The golf season ( don't hold this against me!!) is coming to an end so plan on getting more running in over the winter months.

Would you recommend going for gait analysis and getting properly fitted for runners?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'd definitely recommend getting a gait analysis done and a proper fitting service. The lads in The Run Hub out in Ashtown come highly recommended. The spend a lot of time getting you in the right shoe

I would back eldiva's post above....
They do a play back for you to see your running style and can get the right shoe to fit your running style.
Your old runners will still have value, as I tend to use last year's runners for this season along with my new runners.....It's good to rotate... :-)
