Samsung LCD TV with a white brilliance ..

Hi, So all of a sudden my Samsung LCD TV just went white - like the brightness was turned waaaay up. I tried setting the brightness and backlight way down but doesn't help, it's like some interior light is stuck on. The TV is 7 years old , I wanted to get a new one soon anyway, but its a pity that its only lasted 7 years…

Hi,
So all of a sudden my Samsung LCD TV just went white - like the brightness was turned waaaay up.

anyone see this before ? known issue ?
