    Thanks, the root app thing is gone so I assume it worked. But for some reason my phone won't display its IMEI number now? It shows as a bunch of zeros?

    Just to add to this. I can get an unlock code for it off Vodafone for next to nothing, if dialing *#06~ now gives an IMEI: 00000000000


    Does that mean its changed? Like if I use the original IMEI that was actually on it will the code they give me still work?
