Apples are good for you. Sweetness and sugar is bad for you. Ever thought why one method of preserving fruits is to oversweeten them? That's coz microbes cannot survive in an environment like that. Microbes are made of living cells. If their cells can't tolerate high sugar content, what makes you think your body will like it? Sugar might taste good but it wreaks havoc on your body's state of health. My advice is to stick with regular fresh apples if you care about your health.
