Cycling Holiday

    Hi Folks,

I'm hoping to go on a weeks cycling holiday in either France, Italy or Spain. Ideally a trip where we would tackle different climbs each day and then relax with a few beers in the evening. Maybe even some hiking on the rest days.
Does anyone know of any good guides or other resources that would be useful to plan a trip like this or have any experience doing this? Basically a ski trip for cycling in June or July.

I've been searching and there seems to be a lot of uk companies that organise these trips but their packages are all about 1400 without flights. Seems on the pricey side.

Any help at all would be fantastic?

    Thanks

    Chris

I've used www.vamoscycling.com about 4 times now. Sierra Nevada in the south of Spain.

Look into cycling the Camino. Great value.

I did it last year on mountain bike took me 10 days to cycle the 900kms.

Hiked from st jean to Roncesvalles. Over Pyrenees.

Piked up mountain bike and cycled to Santiago.

Can do it by road too. Can stay in hostels for 5-10 euro night. If don't mind the snoring. Flight for 100euro return.
