Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Just finished Final Year Celtic Civilisation with a 2.1.

    Grinds offered to first year Celtic Civilisation students, €25 per hour, or €20 per person if in a group.

    I really want to do criminology and have applied to arts in UCC for next year.

    If i do sociology as one of the subjects and get the 2.1 required can i apply for ma in criminology after?

    Yes. I know the lecturer who is in charge of the MA and he's a lovely man. If you email him I'm sure he'd reply to any queries.

    Also, if you feel like waiting a year, a BA (Hons) in criminology is being introduced in the department in the academic year 2014/15.

    I'm a PhD student in the sociology department so if you have any other questions about the department then feel free to ask away.
