If you have the funds buy the book. it will help you with all subjects and the 3 they have in the library and to be shared between all years so its rarely there. I'm a mature student too and Cypres Gardens is a good estate. 50/50 families students so its quiet.
Im headen into 3rd year and when I was meant to start there was meant to be 5 mature students 5 fetac and the rest leaving certs....it was the other way around with only 5 LC. but when you get into it all ages get along and we all help each other out.
Have a great time and enjoy
OH AND AVOID ANY ADDRESS WITH WILLOW....STUDENT VILLAGE=NO STUDY

Because the class will be spilt into A & B (and possibly c) in alphabetical order.

I have a collection of veterinary books. Its small at the min but Im constantly adding to it.

If anyone wants access to it pm me for details.

You are only divided for practicals, you'll be with the rest of your class for lectures. Actually for the science subjects you will probably have to share the large lecture halls with other science students. When I was in first year we didn't do that but they brought it in last year. Personally I don't like it but some people do.
