Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Played with someone at the weekend who had a whole bag of Titleist clubs with a Titleist bag, used a Titleist ball as well. Was a real brand loyal man!

    I've a mixed bag- cobra, taylormade, callaway, cleveland


    Anyone else use one brand only throughout their set

    Could be any ball in winter, generally 333s in the open season.

    Play regularly with a lad who isn't brand loyal, but if it's new on the market he has it. Fair play but I do be fair jealous!

    My irons aren't even the same brand :)

    Use Titleist short irons and Mizuno long irons.
    My wedges are a mix of Vokey and Mizuno too.
    Driver and hybrid are Mizuno.
    Bag is Callaway, carry bag is MD.
    Ball is Srixon.
    Putter was Ping, now Scotty.

    I'm just playing them all off each other until one of them comes around with the right offer.

    Balls Bridgestone (but I'd take any ball with similar characteristics, they were half price and they're a good ball)

    There is a guy where I live, he's a club maker/fitter with all the certs and stuff and in his opinion of the mainstream brands only Callayway and Ping are decent quality makes. Like where the irons have actual substance to them. The only makes he can do stuff with like bending, grinding etc and he wouldn't be worried they might disintegrate on his workbench. Not sure how true that is but he has no affiliations to any manufacturers.

    Only non second hand clubs are the wedges, putter and Mizuno 3 and 4 iron, although that retail value is around around 600 euro, which kinda takes any notion of value I had about my bag into the dust bin.
