Balayage Highlights

I have come to the stage where I am absolutely sick of the highlights I get done at hairdressers and pay a fortune for. I'm a natural blonde but it is dark, almost mousey and need highlights to brighten it up. But I only get a couple of weeks out of them and then they start to look brassy and stripey and I cannot put my hair up with them

I have heard about balayage or baliage highlights and was wondering if anyone knows of a hairdresser in Cork or Limerick that does these? I am geting married in three weeks' time and have a 2.5 year-old scallywag so I cannot get to Dublin to have them done there.

Can anyone help? Please! Don't want to look like Bet Lynch on my wedding day!
