Wait, isn't that how most people shake hands?

I've done it that way all my life, so does every male (and quite a few females in my family. Each time I've been in Italy, Oz, France or other countries they've mostly done it like that.

You seem to have an eye for homosexual activity, sir. Right down to the handskakess. Care to explain?

So you call spotting this as having an eye for homosexual activity?

I am referring to your keen eye for specific details of male-male handshakes, right down to the positioning of the thumbs and the like. I see you have edited that part of the post out now, though.

I don't give a damn about Obama's or in fact anyone else's closet life.

What I do have an issue with (As dose the Church) is that this man deliberately misquotes scripture on same sex marriage when its specifically condemned in the Bible to push forward his agenda.

Here's some more thumb spotting.

The scripture was relevant for ancient times, not today. From crusades to contraception, "the church" has (slowly) adapted. All along the way there have always been fundamentalists and zealots who want to preserve "the old ways", it's just psychology, thankfully we've managed to move along.. in most parts of the world anyway.

The only noticeable thing about the Obama handshakes is the body language being used, as leaders of powerful countries they need to give firm handshakes - limp-wristed doesn't translate very well anywhere.

New testament scripture is as relevant today as it was 2000 years ago (Old testament being fulfilled by Christs coming).

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" 2 Timothy 3:16

Stealing, murdering, lying, greed, lust, unbelief etc is no more a transgression 2000 years ago as it is of today.

No it's not. Look around, you must be living under a rock to think that people in any significant number pay any heed to that tome.

Matthew 7:3

And why behold you the speck that is in your brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in your own eye?

Its all a book of folklore at best and for the most part its a collection of nasty fairy-tales. In all honesty your backing up you theories by saying "its true I interpreted it from the bible" is no different than saying "well Hansel & Gretel were real".

Your right. What he should do is follow the churchs lead and just ignore the stuff that doesnt fit or contradictes with their agenda.
