A combination of, gentle use of a pot scrubber on the heavy stuff, brake & clutch cleaner for most of it and this foamy crap to get it all nice and shiny

    Gunk degreaser is king.

I've yet to try it, but seeing the results brake cleaner had, it was like an alcohol smelling powerwasher in a can, mighty stuff

Very rare machine man, amazing car and has such presence if you meet one. Add to that the unstoppable jz series engine and the thing is a beast!

It was a nice evening so I said I'd try an alloy wheel cleaning technique I spotted on Youtube. I went to Lidl and bought a can of oven cleaner (the foamy one).

Fairly happy with the results. The wheels were covered in brake dust (forgot to take a "before picture") but once I let the oven cleaner sit for 15 mins on the alloy it wiped straight off. Not bad for two euro and a half an hours work.

Certainly not one of my best nighttime shots; but nonetheless, this is my Polo.
