Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Hand prints on Paint / laquer

    Hi All, apologies if this has been posted before but i couldnt see anything in a search.

    My wife has a 2008 black volkswagen jetta. on the boot door, there are clearly visible, 2 hand prints, and also one by a rear quarter panel. nothing I've tried will remove these, its like hand cream or something has reacted with the clearcoat and produced these marks.

    the funny thing is, since I've spotted them on the wifes car, I now notice them on loads of other cars. Anyone any ideas on whats causing this / methods of repairing it?
