Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

I had to revert back to the old Facebook app as the update has removed the "recent posts from others" option. But now notifications are showing on the app but not on the phone. Does anyone know of an app that might get around the problem?

Hi, google 'facebook 1.9.12 apk download', you will need to have 'Unknown Sources' ticked in settings>security to install it. Its the best version of the fb app I found, I never update it anymore, every update seems to make it worse imo.
